Our client recently completed a huge first floor renovation to his gorgeous lake front home. He got rid of the 90’s décor & style and fully updated the kitchen, main family room, primary bed & bath and other rooms on that floor creating a gorgeous modern yet cozy family home. 

Our client had a few furniture pieces here and there, but the whole space was lacking in all the finishing details that really make a house feel like a home. He brought us on using our Full Service Interior Design package to add in artwork, rugs, lighting, seating, soft finishes and detailed accessories. We also repurposed an old bedroom into a moody whiskey lounge right off the entryway.  

The home needed lots of softness and texture added to all the updated spaces. We filled our clients home with large area rugs, cozy pillows and throws , gallery walls of family memories and large pieces of artwork to add in color and interest. In the homes new lounge space, we added a deep moody blue color to the walls playing off the gorgeous existing wall mural in that space. We then filled the walls with glass and iron shelfing to display his vast whiskey collection along with plenty of seating in that space for lots of family and friend gatherings he loved to host. The primary bedroom was completed with new bedding, artwork & accessories that created a space that is welcoming and cozy at the end of busy days. All in all, the news details and finishes we added into our clients updated spaces finally made his house feel like his home.
